Verizon Frontline?
Verizon Frontline is a dedicated network known for its exceptional speed, reliability, coverage, and performance, which are crucial for first responders. From 4G LTE to 5G UW, Verizon’s coverage extends extensively across the United States and even beyond its borders. As of January 2020, 99% of the population were able to access their 4G Network, with a significant proportion able to connect to 5G allowing them to access high-speed data in critical situations.
First responders benefit from Verizon Frontline’s notable features, which include traffic segmentation, priority, and enhanced security with wireless Priority Service, Pre-emption, and Private Network Traffic Management tools.
As Verizon Frontline continues to expand, so does the availability of compatible devices in the market. For example, Cradlepoint, Sierra Wireless, Cisco, Peplink, and other vendors supply routers and gateways ready for the Verizon network. Many public safety departments have adopted the MiMo Sharkee® antenna range of products. It has a rugged OEM style shark fin housing, with single hole mounting, internal antennas for GPS/GNSS, 2×2 or 4×4 MiMo for 4G/5G with fallback capability, 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 MiMo dual band WiFi 6e antennas, and the option of a single, dual or tri-band P25 whip.

About the Technology
A key feature of 4G/5G technology is the use of MiMo (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) to enable a high-speed broadband connection. 4G devices (up to Cat 12) require a 2×2 system, which uses two antennas at the client terminal, whilst for 4G Cat 18/20 and 5G devices, a 4×4 MiMo antenna is required.
MiMo technology leverages on multi-path signal propagation to utilise multiple signal paths, with a resultant increase of the channel capacity.
A MiMo antenna system requires a defined level of isolation and a low correlation factor, which Panorama provides in its’ “all in one” solutions. Panorama has a complete range of MiMo multi-function antenna solutions, which are easy to install and provide pre-defined MiMo performance.
