Most commonly used are our panel hole permanent mounted antenna solutions which utilise the vehicles metal roof as part of its ground plane to function properly.

Covert Antenna Options

A small but important part of all police departments is the undercover divisions who depend on unique antenna solutions for their surveillance operations and safety. Through development with a number of public safety customers with special requirements, Panorama now has a full range of covert antenna solutions for police vehicles.

In the VHF and UHF bands, our industry leading and highly successful dipole antenna can be concealed behind the vehicle bumper so its 100% hidden. We also have over-mounded pre-tuned bumper antennas, glass mount options, and a range of end-fed and centre-fed dipoles for UHF, cellular, and WiFi bands so all communication operations can be covered.

TETRA Antennas for voice Radio Communication

The use of TETRA for voice radio communications by police forces in Europe is now common place and as a result, Panorama has a significant range of solutions to match. Most TETRA users adopt the UHF 380-430MHz frequency band where we have a multitude of vehicle antenna options, from standard ¼ wave antennas to more advanced combination antenna solutions. However Panorama offers all the same solutions in the 450-470MHz and 800MHz TETRA frequency ranges meaning if you select this technology, you can rely on Panorama to have the antenna portfolio for your every need.
